Whatever a person wears ~ tells a lot about that person. Whether it be their choice of how they want to represent themselves ~ or if it be their circumstances os what is available for them.... So I feel fascinated to draw whatever it is that they are wearing. Usually, that is Not 'high fashion', by which I mean what we might see in a Fashion Magazine such as Vogue.
Still.... it is a special kind of fun for the artist when people wear 'fashions'. Fancy clothes. Whatever you want to call it. What I mean is when they get dressed up:

I used to rely on Color so much. Beause I love Colors. But now that there's a Prismacolor Void ~ No Longer Being Manufactured ~ I've been drawing black/white Caricatures more often. Getting my Color Caricatures ~ using up what Prismacolors I have been able to still hang on to ~ is a Special Gift for my Special Clients.
Luckily, I like my black/white Caricatures just fine. They have a fresh, clean look. Peaceful. and still Much Fun!

I always feel happy to draw Fashions. to draw whatever it is you are wearing. to draw how you represent yourself. Exaggerated. But it's still most fun to draw Extreme Outrageous Fahshions ~ like Runway Style.
